After at least 10 years of trying the extinction bill of Pombo (R, CA)
passed the House due to it being pushed through while so much of the
nation was distracted by the hurricanes.  The sad ne3ws was just on PBS.
This bill will entirely undermine efforts to protect and help endangered
species such as the Black Footed Ferret.  Not only that but in 2015 it
will cause the Endangered Species Act to cease to exist.
 
The only way to stop it is for enough people to contact their senators
so as to frighten those senators who normally would be very happy to see
animals like Black Footed Ferrets, Bald Eagles, etc. die out and be lost
forever.
