This little guy has me perplexed.  Every so often he stops eating and
smacks his mouth as if he's burping up.  It seems to me he has an upset
stomach, but I can not find the cause.  He stool is runny, but only
because he will only take duck soup right now.  He had an incident a
while back with the tarry stool, so we did Carafate.  Since he does not
show the tell-tell ulcer sign, I wondered if I can use Flagyl or Pepto.
I saw them mentioned in Ferrets for Dummies, but I wanted to get another
opinion.  Any help is appreciated.  Feel free to email me outside of the
