I was wondering, for those who are taking Katrina ferrets in, or working
with the Katrina rescues.  Is there going to be a time period set before
they are even considered *adoptable*?  Are any attempts being made to
find the original owners of these ferrets?
 
Surely some of those ferrets had to have had owners, I would hate to see
that important aspect overlooked.  Those people have lost enough.
