My day usually starts with a quick dash into the ferret's room to feed
and wake them. Quick nose count and cuddle and I'm off to work. This
morning was different, and so wonderful.
I was greeted at the door by a wide awake and ready to play Achilles.
This is my guy who lays on the floor and looks at me until I pick him up.
He's not sick, just lazy. LOL. This morning he greeted me by making a
flying leap attack on my feet, then dook/dancing across the floor. I
went to pick him up and he "attacked" again! He was being so silly! I
spent an extra 5 minutes engaged in play with him before work. What a
great way to start the day. I smiled the entire day. Even the kids on
the bus (I drive a school bus) were wondering why I was in such a good
mood. I'm getting up early tomorrow and see if I can get everyone to
play before I have to go to work. I'm still in a great mood after 13
hours. Ferrets are such great therapy. I've been a real "B" for the
last week. Now I'm back to my old happy silly self. Thanks to my
wonderful fuzzy friends.
Shelley and the four attitude adjusters.
