hi, i have been trying to get ahold of two shelters in south florida.
the one in broward county and the one in boynton beach.  i have left
e-mails and messeges a t the broward one and heard nothing.  i have left
several e-mails at boynton and called her severalo times and the phone
just rings repeatedly.  how can we get a ferret or two from shelters if
the only ones i can use don't respond.  i have taken in nine already
from customers at work, most said they couldn't find a shelter to help
them.  i also called three animal shelters in the area and one said they
didn't deal with ferrets and one said they dont have any no matter when
you call , and animal control of palm beach county won't tell you if
they have any, they want you to go on the web site, the site only lists
dogs and cats.  so how is anyone supposed to rescue a ferret when i have
tried without results?
