I thought maybe some of you could benefit from this...
 
Ferretdepot.com and Rabbitstop.com are proud to announce our new
"Ferret/Rabbit Rescue Grant Program".  This program is designed to
recognize and support outstanding rescue and rehabilitation organizations
that are specific to or have programs specifically for Ferrets or
Rabbits.  It is our mission to reward those who have made commitments
to improving animal welfare by promoting education, providing needed
services to individuals, their communities and providing quality care
for Ferrets and Rabbits in need.
 
Qualifications:
Applicants must provide rescue and rehabilitation services for Ferrets
or Rabbits.
 
Applicants must provide proof of rescue/rehabilitation status as well
as adoption/placement procedures
 
Complete applications must be postmarked by:November 30th, 2005
 
Recipients will be notified no later than December 15th, 2005
 
Application Packet Instructions:
 
Submitted applications must include the following materials in this
order:
 
Completed Application Form (page 1 of application) summary form with
additional sheets attached as needed to fully answer questions.  The
original form with signature is required, no alterations of any kind
permitted.  Applications must be signed and dated.
 
Completed Q&A (page 2 of application) with additional sheets attached.
 
General financial information on your organization, including total
current budget and principal sources of ongoing annual support.
 
Sample of newsletter and/or other example of communication used with
volunteers, employees and the general public.
 
Any contract or other material on adoption, redemption or surrendering
of ferret/rabbit(s).
 
One page summary of employee/volunteer training procedures
 
Additional materials (newspaper or magazine articles, interviews,
photographs, etc.) that would portray the personality of your
organization.
