When you rescue you come across some really horrible conditions.
Last weekend, I took in 6 ferrets, who's names are Timmy, Buddy, Jade,
Tootsie, Presley and LeeLee.  These ferrets smelled like Cat urine, had
a tar like covering on their bodies and of course the nails and ears
were horrible.  After 3 baths each, they were smelling pretty good.
 
What truly is amazing, that despite the horrible life that they had had,
they are like the sweetest things.  Tootsie, how had a huge growth on her
foot, which our Famous Dr. Anna Edling removed this Wednesday is doing
pretty good.  We did some massaging of her foot so she was able to walk
on it again.  She is now finally putting pressure on it and walking
normal.  Buddy is a beautiful DEW Boy who had an eye injury that was not
taken care of.  He now has a healed scar on his eyeball.  But he could
not be any sweeter.  He loves to kiss.  Then there is Timmy, who loves
when I say his name in a funny voice.  He made it out of the ordeal with
little problems.  One of the lucky guys.  Then Jade, who is the naughty
little girl.  She loves to get everyone up after they are all snuggled
down.  She is a little pest.  But she also loves to kiss.  Then the
babies, Presley and LeeLee.  Presley has teeth issues and is going to see
Dr. Anna on Friday.  He is just the cutest thing even though he has this
Elvis Underbite thing going on.  They are both so happy I think to have
nice bedding.  They also LOVE water.  I think both of them would make
good scuba divers.
 
Just thought everyone would like updates on the new kids.  We also just
got in Halle, who a local shelter thought was a male, sable who bit.
She turns out to be a Chocolate Female who is really loving.  She can
dook like the Energizer bunny, but she is a great girl.  Today we got
in another Murphy and a Miranda.  Murphy is a very well fed Silver Roan
mitt.  He is adorable.  And his sister is a black sable female.  She is
also sweet.  They do like to trash the cage, so we are going to have to
work on that issue.  LOL
