Well folks, it hasn't been very long since my last loss but this morning
before I went to work I kissed my Artster good-bye and told him about the
bridge. I knew that he would cross and judging from how he looked when I
returned home, it probably happened shortly after I left. I started to
see signs of aging such as just general slowing down, etc. (he was 8
plus) some time ago but he was active until just a few days ago.
He died peacefully of old age and now runs free with the other babies
that have crossed. He was a rescue from a housing project where he was
left run free and called "The Rat." Need I say more?? My heart is aching
as just last night his eyes met mine and searched my soul and I knew the
time was near.
I know he will be greeted at the bridge by Sandee, Saraferret, and
Muldoone along with Fro, Scamper, Teddy Bear, Bandit, Wilson, Natalie,
Mocha, and his step-brother, Moogli...and they are just the ferrets!!
Rest in peace my sweet one and know that mommy and your cagemates miss
you already....
Sadly...
