Hello,
For the first time in years, one of my little booger-butts is throwing
up. As it's late at night, we're watching him carefully to see what
happens next. I've done a bunch of research online, but would love
some direct comments from anyone who has had this experience....
A few details - this is an average-sized or slightly larger male, mf
sable, no previous medical problems. He's an idiot and I would not be
surprised if he simply was lazy and didn't climb up to his food dish,
but ate a piece that had been knocked down and hidden under a blanket
(they get Sheppard & Greene mixed with Iams kitten), and it didn't agree
with him. He is a little tired, as it's his "sleepy" time, but when
picked up, he shows no tenderness, is alert, looking around, pushing
against me to be put DOWN, I WANNA EXPLORE. :) He climbs into his
sleeping cube with his usual full-body "turn-and-stretch" technique (I
want his flexibility).
So, generally, no signs of anything wrong except the vomitting. I will
be sure to make sure he's using the poopy papers normally... didn't see
any soft droppings, but have removed the papers so we can double-check.
Hopefully, I'll find out by morning (when you're reading this) that all
is fine, but I'd appreciate any thoughts just in case.
Debbie
