but do their part for the ferrets in need.  I know many, many unsung
hero's.  People who do not seek the lime light, or say hardly a word
about all they do for ferrets.
 
Every ferret that is adopted or taken in because they are no longer
wanted, and made to feel part of the new family, is blessed by these
quiet people.  Thank you to all those people who give not only donations,
but spend their time and gas money on transtporting ferrets who need it.
 
Thank you to all those people who have taken in a ferret that has lived
only a couple of days with the new family.  They knew love in that very
short time.
 
Thank you to those people who have taken in and found new homes for
ferrets thay have heard about.  Taking the time to care about the fate
of this ferret.
 
Thank you to those people who monitor the pet shops, making sure the kits
there are well cared for.
 
Thank you to all those people who take the time to make wonderful bedding
and donate it to rescues and shelters.
 
I give thanks this Thanksgiving for all those people out there that are
quietly helping ferrets in need every day.
 
Thank you to those people that have wonderful on line groups, where
people can come and share, laugh and cry, and lean.
 
Even if you are not considered a shelter or a rescue, you are each one of
you special people.  Doing above and beyond what the normal pet owner is
expected to do.  You just never get the glory of being know by all.  But
the glory you feel in your heart is reward enough for you.  That makes
you even more special.
 
You care deeply, you love with all your heart, you give till it hurts.
Your very special to me and those ferrets who's lives you touch.
 
You don't need to be a Shelter or a Rescue to be special.  Your are owned
by ferrets and that makes you very special.
 
Happy Thanksgiving to you special people, may this Holiday season fill
you with joy and reward you with fulfillment.
