Ok, I'm getting frustrated. I have stated very plainly that the Florida
shelter in question is clean and neat. They also have nice little
waterproofed placards on each cage listing name, age, med's, etc. They
are all very well taken care of and there is no random pooper laying
around.
The ferrets are not in need of rescue or removal. This is not a
situation like the one a few years back with the lady who kept them in
cages with dead ferrets and full of poop in the back yard shed. These
people are not horders. Animal Control said they are just fine. If AC
said it, then it's true. I will try to get down there and take some
pictures (although it's an hour each way for me) and I will post them.
That way every one can see how clean and well cared for the ferrets are.
The rooms are kept dark because that is what is best for ferrets. There
is plenty of ventilation and the place does not have a strong odor.
Some people just need to mind their own darn business. Leave these
people alone, what you are saying is slanderous. (AC said so!) Stop
being nasty and deal with your own darn problems.
Sorry to be so nasty, but I've had it with shelters backstabbing other
shelters. We are all in this together people. Take a step back and
think before you go off the deep end.
Still missing my 5 babies,
Shelley
