I just want to second that. As I've mentioned before, our first ferret
was raised on cat biscuits for his first year, but he didn't hesitate
for a second when we first gave him raw chicken. I'm led to believe
that this was a lucky situation (possibly because he was still fairly
young) and that most ferrets aren't so easy; but still, sometimes the
changeover can be quite seamless.
