just want to resend this 'cause I've only gotten one email from someone.
I'll do faxes this week, so please, if you haven't asked your vet to help
with the USDA petition, send me their info and I'll ask them for you!

Subject: Request - vet info for USDA action
hello all, I just had an idea on how to help. I have a fax machine at
home, and I thought if I could fax the IFC letter for vets and the AFA
sample letter to veterinaries, they may then make copies of the letters
and send it off. I'm sure many people on the list have already taken
the letters to their vet, but for anyone who doesn't have a printer, or
is far away from their vet (and is lucky enough not to visit frequently),
I'll be happy to fax the information to your vet for you. this is
approximately what I'll include as the cover to the fax. I'll also
include my contact info.
Hello, your client XXX gave me your practice as one they use to
provide care for their ferrets. XXX would like to inform you of
a USDA action to improve conditions for farm bred and petstore
ferrets. Please take a moment to read the attached document
provided by the International Ferret Congress. Please show your
support by writing a letter to the USDA. If your practice does
not leave you much time for a personal letter, please consider
signing the copy of form letter to the USDA provided by the
American Ferret Association.
This fax is sent from a fax machine of a private home in Canada.
Rest assure this is a one time fax and you will receive no further
correspondence.
I have already gotten permission from IFC and AFA to send their letters.
what I'll like from you is to send me the name of your veterinarian's
practice, and their fax number if you have it. if you don't have a fax
number, give me their practice's name, city, and state, and I'll do my
best to google the information. Please also give me your name so I can
fill in the XXX above. I really don't want to spam anyone!
send the info to me with a subject "Vet Info for USDA". I'll collect
the names for now and send out something next week or so. I'll let you
guys know how many vets I have contacted then.
many thanx.
Selina
