hey all!!!!
 
i HAVE to tell y'all about this amazing lady i saw/met at the Ferret Show
in Columbus Saturday...
 
WOW!!!...oh WOW!!!...OH WOW!!!!
 
she was at the table next to ours [i was with Kay of Fire Storm
Ferrets... more about that later!]...anyway...there was this Sketch
Artist next to us...ok...fine...another artist...i LOVED her drawings
that she had hanging on her display...ferrets, dogs, cats, did i
mention FERRETS???
 
ok...fine...granted she does beautiful work...THEN!...i am standing there
holding kay's MOST ABSOLUTLE GORGEOUS BLACK ferret, Black Velvet...and
Kelly...that is her name, Kelly...says she will draw her...that she can
do it RIGHT THEN...RIGHT THERE...in front of God and everybody...[she did
not say that part...i did!]...and she would put it with her portfolio if
Kay did not want to buy it...ok...that was fine with me...i asked Kay...
after all...Velvet was not mine to say yes about...LOL...of COURSE Kay
said sure...so she sketched her RIGHT THERE!!!...5 minutes later... THERE
SHE WAS...RIGHT ON THAT PAPER!!!!!...it was SO facinating to watch her
come alive on there...and to watch Kelly work...
 
She can do the drawings from the live animal OR from a picture...i was so
amazed and facinated with her work...and she is SUCH a nice lady...:):):)
 
later i gave her my business card...the one with my Uh-Oh on it...a tiny
pic in the corner...and said after i got home...i would send her the full
size version and see about getting a drawing of Uh-Oh done...she said she
could do it from the card!!!...and she DID!!!!!...there my precious Uh-Oh
was on that paper...
 
ok...i have to write her and she will give me her info so i can put a
link to her on my Happening Page...but for now...here it is...[from her

ok....now...i need to sell ONE crocheted SleepSack to get Uh-Oh out of
hock...i can make one whatever colors you would like...or you can get the
ONE i happen to have already made up...it is in blues and tans...;-) just

Uh-Oh is not doing well...i am not sure how much longer he will be with
us...he goes back to the vet on thursday...i want some blood tests
done... but Uh-Oh is his Daddy's boy...and we just lost Daddy's girl,
AngelGirl... i want to make sure that tommy has this pic of Uh-Oh in
case anything happens to him...
