Judy, Julie, Linda! The power of three! Taking what Randy Belair
started in Canada, this Ohio trio met together and decided this was
something that should be continued. The story of the International
Ferret Congress (IFC) can be found at the website --
http://www.ferretcongress.org. Here we want to take a few moments
to talk about the people themselves. An article in Ferrets magazine
recently did just this. if you have yet to read it, you should pick
one up.

Linda Iroff is the assistant to the Director of the Center for
Information Technology at Oberlin College. She is the mother of a
teenage daughter and three ferrets, so life at home is never boring!
Linda has been a part of the ferret community for many years. She has
been a shelter mom as well as a foster mom. In fact, activist Linda is
not afraid to fight for any little life --6 just like a mom! Check out
her early activities at
http://www.oberlin.edu/staff/liroff/phoenix/clevefert.html
and some more recent experiences as seen from a ferret's perspective!
Come meet Linda at the Symposium!

Judy Cooke is the Elf Queen! She is active not only in the IFC, but also
with Support Our Shelters. Those who have been around for awhile know
that Judy organized and maintained the card exchanges that have raised
thousands of dollars for ferret causes over the past several years.
Mr. Hon, Judy's infamous husband, was moved to the Gulf Coast by his
company and Judy must now introduce her two ferrets to the white of the
beach instead of the snow! With a heart as big as Ohio, Judy will be
host the hospitality suite at the Symposium.

Julie Fossa, also a shelter operator, also divides her time between Ohio
and Florida. She recently became the new mom of four new rescues,
bringing her personal total to six. Julie has a background with ADV
positive ferrets and is always willing to share information with ferret
owners. A new grandma, Julie would love to show you some pictures of the
latest addition! Julie will also be at the Symposium! Come see her
reign over the Celebrity Auction!

Linda the Ferret, Judy -- and her ears, and Julie can all be seen at
http://www.picturetrail.com/gid2891995 (thanks, Danee!).
