Hi
Please watch for Bob at the Bridge. If someone could introduce her to
Lottie who passed on the 22nd of Sept 2000. She never met my first
weasel, Lottie, but I am sure they will get on. A pair of mischievous
girls together. She knows Tally, Fane and Bailey though and I am sure
they would be please to see her.
Tonight is a sad night. My beautiful bob had to be helped over the
Bridge at about 8 o'clock tonight. She leaves behind her twin sister
Priss as well as Lector and Brandy.
She has been unwell for ages but seemed comfortable enough and although
I knew the end was coming I did not expect it now. I sat down stairs
and heard a scream. I am sure many of us have heard Ferret screams but
this one was truly awful. I could do nothing, the others were terrified
and would not let me near to Bob. My arms are torn to shreds. She
screamed and screamed so loudly, I will never forget that sound.
I called the vet who talked me through things that might help but soon
after she had another screaming fit. I rushed her to the vet where she
was helped over the bridge with an intra cardiac injection.
The others have taken it hard but have spent some time with Bob's body
and come to terms with it. She looks so peaceful now. She has been
suffering with a degenerative neurological condition and has had limited
use of her front legs for a while. At least over the bridge she can
play again, she has not dooked or made happy sounds for so long.
Good night my Sweetest Bob,
Love
Wayne.
