I'm behind on the fml and just read the question about clicker training
and ferrets.  Hmmm, maybe I should get one for my ferrets, although they
are doing well without it.  Mikette, standing on her food mat with her
body facing the kibble bowl, turns her face back and up at me to give me
the unspoken command "Warm duck soup would be preferred".  When I'm in
the bathroom Jillie stands next to the tub and with one imploring look
silently gives me the command "I need a fresh drink of tub water, quickly
please".  When Jillie and Mikette are savoring their shared duck soup
bowl Baby enters the kitchen and with an unfaltering stare easily
communicates her command "Duck soup, yuck!  But I'll take a treat now".
Yup, they're doing really well with their training.
 
Aaahhh, but maybe that's not what you meant  (-:
