While food shopping I happened a crossed this kitten food with the
following ingredients, as listed in order on the package:

Chicken, chicken meal, whole grain brown rice, chicken fat (preserved
with mixed tocopherols), oatmeal, fish meal, salmon, potatoes, cracked
pearled barley, millet, flaxseed, natural chicken flavor, kelp, carrots,
peas, tomatoes, apples, cranberry powder, rosemary extract, parsley
flake, salt, choline chloride, dried chicory root, methionine, potassium
chloride, taurine, zinc sulfate, vitamin E supplement, niacin, manganese
sulfate, copper sulfate, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin A supplement,
biotin, potassium iodide, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, pyridoxine
hydrochloride (vitamin B6), vitamin B12 supplement, manganous oxide,
sodium selenite, vitamin D supplement, folic acid.

I found no "corn" or "corn meal" or "corn gluten meal" listed however am
wondering about the other grains & veggies used. It is a dry, "Y" shaped
kibble so there are no "chunks" of veggies to be an issue.

The other nutritional info as listed is:

I know that Taurine is important for cats & kittens, is it also for
ferrets?

Has anyone used this kibble in their mix for their ferrets?

What are your opinions on this food as used for ferrets?

Debbie
