Hi all-
I know it has been a while- I am reminding folks who offered to make ADV
dedication squares for panel #3 of the ADV Quilt project- that any time
is a good time to submit the finished squares!
I have personally completed the first 4 squares here! I have another It
is our goal to get at least one more full panel done before 2005 IFC
International Ferret Symposium that would make a combined 3 exhibition
quilts! I think one of the most heart grabbing exhibits at this event
and others is seeing these huge quilts hanging on display with the folks
reading each name -- reminding us a young fur kid has experienced a
horrid illness that we need to contain! Many folks get teary as they
realize how many hearts get touched in the midst of this. It is really
an impressive thing to see the names start to unfold and to see the
numbers grow on the ADV quilt panels. A great reminder to us all to keep
working against the illness.
For those of you who have ADV pos ferrets and would like them featured on
the square just forward an email with their name and state of residence
we will see a volunteer creates a fitting square for them! You can make
the square yourself-- or we will get volunteers to construct them for you.
Once again Thanks to Ardith Raines NV who has offered generously to step
up to the plate to assist with this great project. The ferret community
is enriched and blessed by those who pitch in to help educate!
