The FML Story is well under way!! I will be posting a little
bit at a time here on the FML. When it's finished, I can send
a complete copy to anyone who wants it! Looks like it's going
to be a good one!!
If you are on the list to write a paragraph, please be patient!
It's kinda slow going...but everyone will get their chance!
Here goes:

The sky was filled with brightly twinkling stars as Christianaferret
stood on the balcony overlooking her father's Dookdom, contemplating her
future. Just this very afternoon, her father, the Dook of Swellington,
had informed her of her upcoming marriage to the young Dook of Cornish
Hen. He had recently inherited a huge dookdom and was in need of a
young, strong wife. Her father told her he thought this was a good
match. He said the young Dook was a good hobb - he would treat
Christianaferret right, she would never lack for anything, and she
would be happy.
Christianaferret had never meet the young Dook - had no idea what he
even looked like. Was he a Silver, a Chocolate, a Dew? Was he a big
hobb, a small one...did he have tattoo's? Could she be happy in an
arranged marriage? The world was so big with so many places to see and
so many things to do. She had heard of the Ferretone Lakes and FoamyFry
Hills to the North. To the south stood the Leaning Tower of N-Bone and
the Fountain of Raisins. Would she ever be able to see these wonderful
places....or would she be trapped in a loveless marriage?.
Christianaferret was suddenly startled out of her thoughts by a noise
that came from her room. It was a strange noise - one she had never
heard before. She cautiously walked back into the room - slowly looking
this way and that, but saw nothing. Then a sharp noise sounded behind
her and she turned to find......

A fish! The famous snap-fish of Dookdom. He had a very big mouth and
it was said he never, ever told a lie. He did have one annoying habit
though...he loudly snapped his way through life. Christianaferret knew
she could ask the snap-fish anything and she would get a reply that was
true and she so wanted to know more about her pending marriage to the
Dook of Cornish Hen.
"Oh Mr. Snap-Fish", she began....and then Christianaferret stopped
abruptly. What she saw amazed her even more than the loudly snapping
snap-fish....She saw ........
to be continued.
