Looks like we're going to be heading south from Washington state to
Arizona.. the mapqwest gives the most direct route down I-5 through
California and hanging a left to get to Phoenix. My question is... how
safe is it to transport our 14 fuzz-butts through 'enemy' territory,
and can they be taken if we are stopped for any reason. (illegal alien
checkpoints etc). The other way is real ugly, but would hate to end up
in jail for maiming officers for touching out ferts!

So those out there in CA... can you let me know (anon) if we had best
plan on a 4 day trek instead of a 2-3 day one?

I've heard horror stories... but they have always been 4th or 20th hand..
not anyone's actual experiences in traveling through California with
their babies in tow.
