we all know that ferrets are illegal in hawaii, but a few questions-
i always here discussion about people trying to change legislation in
CA, but i never hear anything about HI. does anyone know anything?
opinions, does anyone think that perhaps it could change any time soon?

Also, are there any kind of loopholes AT ALL? could i pay tons of money
to keep my ferrets and maybe a few other random animals and get some kind
of permit if i were an educator, bringing animals around to schools (or
some other kind of job like that) or ANY kind of loophole where ferrets
are ok if money wasn't an option (within reason.)

Finally, obviously ferrets are snuck into CA all the time. I'm obviously
not going to throw my babies in a cooler and try to take them on a plane,
but has any one ever heard of ANYONE getting ferrets into hawaii in a
sneaky yet safe way? has anyone ever heard of anyone having a ferret in
hawaii?

i know a lot of people are going to mention how HI has strict quarantine
policies for animals coming in. What i've realized is that lately
they've modified those policies so that animals that meet certain
qualifications (microchipping, rabies, etc) CAN get in and out in 5 days.
I know this is kind of a moot point if there's no legal way to get them
there, but i thought it was neat to note.
