well, well, well, it's been another CRAZY week at the shelter. mommie has been in bed all week with some kind of weird flu bug that's kept her immobile BUT, the shelter kept going as usual. Pixie had her dental surgery this week and is recuperating at auntie Olympia's. Razzle had his adrenal surgery this week and is doing well. The four kids that came in last Saturday are holding their own, but Tut isn't doing so well. He's got ECE pretty bad and is very thin and listless. please keep him in your thoughts. Rufus is still having pee pee problems. he did well for a week or so but now has blood in his pee again! The shelter took in EIGHT ferrets on Saturday. Three are unspayed females in heat, two have really bad adrenal and are almost totally hairless, one has lymphoma and the other two are healthy. their owner was originally looking for someone to board them for four weeks but ended up surrendering them to the shelter because she could not see herself being able to afford their care (not like the shelter is much better off!!)
