Due to the new information we got that we may be getting closer to 35
ferrets from the closed down breeder, we have to turn our entire shelter
into a large quarantine. All the current shelter kids will be fostered
out so we can do this.
There is a lady who needs to find a home for her son's ferret and we
can't take him right now. If anyone in the area can give him a home,
please see the following;
Ladies,
One of the receptionists at Guelph left me a message about a ferret
needing a home. I spoke to the lady ( lives in Cambridge ) and it turns
out it's her son's ferret. He has moved to a smaller apartment and does
not have room for the ferret. In his old place the ferret had a room of
it's own so it has no cage. He keeps the ferret in a carrier now in the
bathroom, he is not sure how the dog, cat and ferret would do unattended.
The ferret is about 2 years, albino but the mother did not know if it was
a male or female. I told her to put up signs at the local Petsmart and
Super pet and I said I would post on the FML for her. Can one of you
post for me.
