Our Nanook had adrenal/insuloma surgery on Friday. Everything seems to
be going fine, except for 2 things. The first is he's not eating as much
as I think he should be. This is my fault, because I never got the hang
of force feeding, and he's never acquired a taste for duck soup, chicken
baby food etc.. He's had about 20 pieces of kibble during the day, some
nutrical, and he is drinking good. If this continues, I'll give my vet
a call tomorrow..

The 2nd problem is he is starting to lick and scratch his belly on and
around his incision. Last fall when he has surgery, he licked his belly
so bad he caused sores. I'm hoping someone knows of a herbal remedy
which might ease the discomfort so he won't lick. I'm assuming it's an
itchy feeling. I purchased Arnica 'pllets' today and crushed 1 up for
him. I've heard Arnica is very good for surgery, trauma and bruising..

Thank you for any ideas!
