Ever since I was 12 I have wanted a ferret. I am now 24 and this year
my boyfriend made it possible. He was looking forward to a raise on
the 1st of March. He went out and adopted a ferret for me. His name
is Bandit he is about 2 years old. The only information I got about
him is that about a year ago he had a cyst removed from the end of his
tail. He has not been taken to a vet since. He was a bit overweight
when he came home with me and he has a green diarrhea and a lot of gas.
Now instead of the raise my boyfriend was going to get he got laid off
from his job. The company lost a very important contract and had to
layoff 3/4 of the people. I have not been able to work because of an
undiagnosed seizure or blackout episodes. I am currently on tanf and
only have an income of 330/mo. By the end of this month we have to leave
our appartment and I just found out today 4/10/06 that I can't move in
with my mom because she is seperating from my dad and wont be there
anymore.
I don't know what to do but Bandit is not well and going downhill fast.
If I can't find someone to help me I may have to surrender him to an
overcrowded shelter or he will die. I hate to see such a fate for a very
sweet ferret. He loves kids and likes to sleep in thier beds and loves
to cuddle. If you know anyone or anyway to help this little baby of mine
I would really appriciate it.
I am comming to the furetti ferret education day this Sunday in Colorado
and I have been thinking about bringing him along because I just dont
know what else I can do.
Please let me know if anyone can help.
Sincerely,
Jessy, Snitch the cat chaser, Bandit my poor baby, and Zaydee the wild.
