I'm sure like most others I just wanted to make sure I was on the
historic number 5000. It has been a little while for me on the list.
I don't recall how I actually found it, but I remember why. My dear
Jako suffered a bought of cancer, but we did not know until after. Even
though we lost him, I found a great vet and lots of support for our
remaining business. We were also put in contact with our two newest
boys, whom we got out of Austin.
Sometimes there are silly arguments among people who simply don't have
the courage to face each other; sometimes it's just a misunderstanding
because you were up late reading the list while caring for a sick fuzzie.
Through the ups and downs the list has overall been great. While I have
received help from many of you, I would like to give a special thank you
to Sukie for being there in my darkest hour; BIG for his tireless working
reading, compiling and managing this mass of info; Judy for all the great
card exchanges; Sandee (in all your forms) for welcoming and checking on
my dear departed; Dr. Murray and all the other ferret specialists without
whom we would never know as much as we do about the inner workings or
these little ones, and to all the caring people who send condolences and
advice when it is requested. If I left someone out, I apologize. Thank
you all and may we see another 5000.
