Dear Carol,
 
No hate mail from me, just a real heartfelt message of sympathy for you.
You tried, you took him to the Vet.  you would have been criticized if
you had not, or if you did something the Vet did not recommend.
 
Bless you for your efforts, bless you for your caring, and know you are
in my prayers for your loss.
 
At times like this, you really NEED your ferret people to stand with you
and share your pain.  What you don't need is criticism for following
expert advice.  Everyone makes mistakes.
 
Life is but a highway and the milestones are years, now and then there
is a toll gate where we pay our way with tears.
