Yes, you should have bought Loca from the pet store.  With you, she has a
chance.  It sounds like you are making progress, and that is a good sign.
 
Be steady is your care and know you did the right thing.  If you had left
here there, she would have had a very slim chance of recovery.
 
It is heartbreaking to purchase a ferret and find out it is sick.
However, Loca is now in your very capable care, and we offer hope and
prayers for her recovery.
 
Do not berate yourself for purchasing her, you were her only hope.
 
Bless you and baby Loca, and just keep a close watch on her.  We will add
you to our prayer list.
