Trouble picked up the phone and dialed. She listened nervously as the
phone rang, and almost jumped out of her chair when she heard a ferret
answer. "Hello? This is the SAS. Baby speaking"
"hello" trouble said nervously "I got a call from you..."
"oh!!" baby interrupted "well you need to come to London. Our address is
number 800, bandit boulevard."
"Wha-" trouble started to ask, but baby had already hung up. It was one
thing planning a vacation in London, and another thing to be told by a
creepy ferret to just leave. But trouble's nosiness and curiosity got
the better of her. "ya, I'll go to London." She whispered to herself,
then went upstairs to pack her bag. She also brought two bags, one for
her gymnastics stuff, and the other for her stash bag. She was very
proud of her stash stuff, and had spent a lot of time carefully thieving
everything but the kitchen sink, which wouldn't fit. She was ready to go
in just a few minutes, and got on the road to the Dallas airport. It was
a long drive, and she didn't really trust her old jeep to make it, so she
drove very quickly, trying to get as far as she could before she broke
down. (that's ferret logic for you!) to her surprise, not only did her
car not break down, but she had made it to the airport in half her usual
time.
She walked up to the counter and the AirFerret got her on a flight
leaving in half an hour. Her amazing luck didn't last through security,
however. And she was faced with a series of awkward questions as to how
she had fit a bathtub in her stash bag. ( literally EVERYTHING but the
kitchen sink.) the security guard thought she was joking when she gave
him this explanation, but finally let her through. The security trouble
had taken her so long, that she expected to miss her flight, but to her
surprise, she made it five minutes early. She took a window seat and ate
some of the kibble she had brought with her. She had expected to sleep
on the long flight, but to her surprise, she couldn't. she was not
worried about the mystery anymore, hopefully it would be satisfactorily
explained in London. But something else was keeping her awake. Not
exactly bothering her, but keeping her awake. After deciding sleep was
impossible, she got out her favorite book, one of the litterbox gang
mysteries. she looked out the window at the English Coast and gasped in
horrified surprise, she checked her watch, the plane had left Dallas just
30 minutes ago, and it was supposed to be a five hour flight. Unless the
pilot planned on doing circles of the British Isles for the next 41/2
hours (we're talking about ferrets here, it could happen) then they would
be in London in about 5 minutes. Trouble was stunned, it was completely
impossible for an AirFerrets plane to move that fast, and then her
thoughts wandered back to her manic drive from her house to Dallas. She
couldn't possibly have traveled through time, could she? But at that
moment, a very confused pilot called out "fasten your seatbelts for
arrival in London" interrupting Trouble's tangled thoughts.
