I have posted a couple of times, but had to post on this as well (am I
getting to be a regular poster yet?  LOL).

I think the biggest challenge the ferret community faces is education -
of the public, the pet store management, the pet store staff, etc.
Flyers would help, and I'm asking here publicly for anyone who has flyers
to email them to me.  If you don't have them in an email-able format,
please drop me an email and I'll give you my mailing address or make
other arrangements.  I want to get them to my local stores.
 
I notice that there is more advertising of auctions and requests for
assistance than when I was on the FML years ago.  However, as a general
observation, I believe that most people are in worse shape financially
than they were back then - that includes shelters, those who donate(d)
to the shelters, and the general public who have bought ferrets.
 
So, I will do what I can, and skip the posts that I can't bear to read
(although those are often the "welcome to the Bridge" ones).  I hope we
can all do that, it will be a good thing for the fuzzies in the end.
