I have been using Innova for my cats and my personal ferrets for years.
In my opinion, it's the best product on the market. NaturaPet does not
sell to the big pet store chains because of how long they warehouse the
food before it ever gets to the store shelves. The grains and veggies
are so far down the ingredients list that the effects are negligible,
especially when you consider the poor quality of most other pet foods.
The first 3 ingredients are always real meat - not by-products from
downer or diseased animals. I mix it with 8 in 1 ULTIMATE and Totally
Ferret just so that the shelter kids don't go into shock when they go
to their new home. Most people haven't even heard of Innova. I have
already graduated to the EVO dog food and will move to the EVO cat food
when it hits the market in about a month. The only difference between
the two is the amount of protein.

The owners are great people and one of the few who don't spend money
on advertising so that they can offer a fair price to their customers.
With the quality of the ingredients, it's not a cheap food to make.
Operating a shelter is expensive too and I cut corners when I can but
not on ferret food. Every person who has come through our shelter has
commented on the beautiful condition of our shelter kids' fur. And I
always respond - it's all about nutrition!

Okay - maybe a little love too.
