Last I heard (and that was 2-3 years ago when I wrote Ebay about a ferret
that passed away in a pet store) is that taxidermy ferrets, ferret pelts
and the like can be sold because Ebay policies are based on California
laws and California does not consider ferrets as pets.
 
Another reason for CA.  residents to write the Governor in support of
SB 89.
