We have received the most horrible abuse, or neglect case yet.  I am
including links for the pictures because there are some who will not be
able to handle seeing them.  A little background on the surrender
 
Husband and wife divorced approx. 1 year ago, and wife took 3 ferrets.
Wife recently abandoned the ferrets and ex-husband was called to pick up.
Claudia received a call from the new wife and they wanted to surrender
them all.  Claudia asked if they would be ok until this weekend when she
could get them Yes, but one had a minor eye problem.  They brought the
ferrets to Claudia's on Sunday, and she was speechless when she looked
at the little boys face.  He has a tumor larger than a half dollar and
sticks out approx. 1 1/2 to 2 inches.  It is ulcerated and bleeding
also.
 
I did not post about him until we knew whether Dr. Gold at Chadwell
Animal Hospital would do the surgery and try and save his life or if we
would have to put him to sleep.  Well, I have just received the call,
and he will be having part 1 of a 2 part surgery today.  This little boy
will be given every chance possible to life a happy ferret life.  If
anyone is able to help with his medical bills, which will be expensive,
it would be greatly appreciated.  Donations can be made directly to
