Nipping ferrets

I have only had one to nip, a DEW who was deaf naturally.
 
The way I got him to stop is when I would hold him like a baby and put
some ferretone on his stomach and he got so interested in licking he
forgot about the nipping.
 
Of course now I have created a ferretone junkie and when he rolls out
every morning he expects his fix.
