Well hellooooooooo my friends! I would like to send prayers off to all
of those who have been touched by this terrible hurricane. My thoughts,
prayers and love are with you all.

Darwena, the little one with all the problems is not doing well. she
went to camp Paige on Thursday night for some extra TLC. Please keep
her in your thoughts.

Barbie & Ken went to camp Olympia for some TLC as well. Barbie has not
been doing so well since coming back to the shelter. Their foster mommie
(auntie Jenny) is dealing with a terrible mouse problem so they had to
come to the shelter for their protection. Barbie got a little stressed
out and has been having seazures. NOT to worry though, she's on meds and
auntie Jenny visits all the time. auntie Olympia is taking good care of
the pair until it is safe for them to go home. Auntie Jenny even had a
sleep over with the kids and auntie Olympia on the weekend!

Starling is back in our shelter system and staying with auntie Sandy and
uncle Mark until we can find her a perminant foster home. She's not been
so well but i know with some TLC, she will be much better.

Clute is doing great! He's the little one that came in very malnurished.
He's gained a LOT of weight and is playing happily with Bubbles, Squeek
and Blarney. He's starting to look his age although mommie still thinks
he looks younger than 7 months old.

Reggie is also doing better and his black poops are now almost normal,
thanks to the help of sulcrate! Dr. Bruce was so right when he spoke of
ferrets being prone to ulcers when they are stressed out!

i also have some great news to report! The shelter raised $1,000 at this
year's Frolic! This beats last year's record of $400. Thank you to all
our members, new ferret friends and volunteers who made this possible :)

My love to you all, Harley "Bug"
