Hi all-
Many of you at the IFC conference this spring saw the beautiful engraved
slate of my "Mausi" that was made available for the auction.
Well, the maker of the slate - Reflections in Time, is making another
slate available for a raffle -- this time, to benefit the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society. I will be running my first ever marathon to raise
money for this group -- and Reflections in Time is going to help!
So, in short - you can have ANY photograph -- your ferrets, your family,
anything at all - engraved in slate. These are beautiful art pieces -
trimmed in wood, if you wish - that also make great gifts. To see a
sample, email Rose Marie at [log in to unmask]
The slate she made of my ferret Mausi is one of my prized possessions -
a forever memory and tribute to his life.
We will be raffling off the small sized slate (approx. 8" X 8") -
either trimmed or untrimmed, your choice. Remember, it is August -
but the holidays are coming! Tickets are $2 each. These are valued
at over $50!
How do you enter?
1. Go to:
http://www.active.com/donations/fundraise_public.cfm?key=tntnyvtSKudrak
and make a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Donate any
amount you wish - and remember that tickets are $2 each. If you don't
want to donate online, contact me at [log in to unmask] to make other
arrangements. Remember, this is a charity - and your donations are tax
deductible. They will go towards helping us find a cure for cancer!
2. Email me at [log in to unmask] and confirm how many tickets you
purchased. I will see that your tickets are placed into the raffle jar.
3. Wait to win your slate! We will hold the raffle on September 28 --
you'll have the prize in hand well before the holidays!
Remember - this is for a good cause. I am running in honor of Makayla --
a 3 year old who has been undergoing chemotherapy since she was 4 months
old. We have all been touched by cancer in some way or another -- here
is your chance to make a difference. Maybe some of the research will
eventually benefit our fuzzies diagnosed with lymphoma!
Many thanks --
-Sandra Kudrak, DVM
