Hey All,
My Romeo is deaf, and he talks a lot as well. He actually talks more
than Julliet. He'll dook and squeek and complain when Julliet grabs him
by the scruff. He also sucks in (i think) air real quick sometimes to
make a hissing type sound. He's quite a talker.
Anyway, I have a fun experience to share. Last night, I was playing with
my fuzzies and sometimes I will hold them and kinda swing them around
(with my hand holding thier torso and one under their butt, so they're
not swinging freely, their riding my arm like a swing), kinda like you
would with a toddler.. and I'll hold them above my head and then drop my
arms (still holding on of course) and they'll cling to my arms etc. Now
I didn't think Julliet like that much, so I didn't put her up very high,
I just gently swung her. Then I set her on the bed so that Romeo could
have a turn. Wouldn't you believe it she sat there and stared at me and
Romeo and watched him go round and round and up high. So, I set Romeo
down and then gave Julliet a turn and Romeo just sat there and waiting
for it to be his turn again!!! I was so suprized that they actually
liked it enough to sit there and wait for their turn to come around. It
was so funny. We did that for at least 10 minutes, until my arms got too
tired and I had to go back to cleaning their cage. Even when I stopped,
they still sat there and stared at me until I walked away. It was so
great, it made me happy. Anyone else ever have a fun experience like
that?
Anyway, I also have a question, when the two of them go at it and wrestle
(more so when Julliet initiates it) I've noticed that Julliet will chase
romeo around and try to bite? his bottom and his underbelly near his
bum.. Is this normal? Should I worry about it? I haven't ever seen any
blood, or heard any real screaming (my dad said he heard them scream
once... but only once).. and it's not constant. I guess I would relate
it to a brother and sister fighting and the sister (who's smaller than
her brother) deciding that she needs and advantage so she kicks him where
it hurts lol. I was just wondering if that's something I need to worry
about. I don't think it is, but has anyone else had that problem? -
Jules
