Cross posted with Permission of the author: I love Randy. She's a wonderful lady, and I can't believe she's doing this. As many of you know they have recently gone through one of the most hellish rescues ever reported to the ferret community. That was about 30 ferrets right before Christmas, and since then, taken in another 20. Despite what I've experienced, it all paled to what Randy went through. There were outdoor cages with live co-mingled with dead, no food....except the carcasses of the deceased ferrets. I don't know how she and her volunteers mentally survived that rescue. I just don't. But God bless her, she heard about the Abingdon kids and has not only sent a donation, but is doing a fundraiser to aid both theirs and our rescue. Thank you Randy and our Ontario fuzzy friends! Does it ever stop? Unfortunately not yet.
