Any way we choose?? Not according to the SPCA, the Humane Society, and
the Animal Welfare Act.
And I think it's just silly to compare a ferret to a pig. In this
country the majority of pigs are raised for food. Ferrets are strictly
pets. Ebay does not allow the selling of cat or dog pelts, and as the
third most popular pet in the US, why shouldn't ferrets and their owners
be accorded the same courtesy??
Eleanor, you have no reason to apologize!! You saw something that
disgusted you, along with 99.9% of all other ferret lovers, and you did
something about it. Quite a few people e-mailed this seller, myself
included. The seller then chose to respect the feelings of ferret
owners and stopped the auction himself. You are to be commended.
