SLOW DOW! My ferrets have taught me to slow down. Nothing has to be
done efficiently. Things take longer in the kitchen since I've had
ferrets and that's okay - right?

It is perfectly acceptable for it to take 30 minutes to make breakfast.
By "make breakfast" I mean poor ice tea into in a cup - add sweetener and
grab a cereal bar. Used to take my 2 minutes BF (before ferrets) now
it's a minimum of 30! Grabbing ferrets out of cabinets - the fridge -
bending over to give belly rubs - detouring to put out a few treats ---
oh better go get a ball or an egg for them to chase. Its all part of
"making breakfast" --- extra time is added every time I have to double
back to move my drink because some wise guy (Willard Scott Ferret) gets
up on the table and pours down soda or tea to his pose.

I think that's why I love Sundays - it can take an hour to "make
breakfast" - because with 7 ferrets - its not hard to find things to
slow you down especially when I break out the camera. --- Yup - in the
last 6+ years my ferrets have taught me to slow down and with my Type-A
personality - it's a good thing!
