Early morning at the Bridge, the mist is beginning to disappear and
Muldoone is on his way to the Bridge to welcome a new arrival; Max.
As Muldoone arrives at the Bridge he takes his place and waits for the
arrival of the newest Bridge resident. The wind begins to pick up and
it blows through his fur and whiskers, delicately dancing on the soft
backside of his ears. As the flash of light subsides the unmistakable
sound of ferret feets could be heard coming across the Bridge.
As Max reaches the end of the Bridge, Muldoone steps forward to offer
his nose in a greeting. "You must be Max, Mully says to him, I be Mr.
Muldoone, officialist Wainbow Bwidge Gweeter, weltome to da Wainbow
Bwidge.
Max stops and sits down and studies the new face in front of him. He
spends several minutes just looking around, surveying the new sights.
So dis be da Wainbow Bwidge Max says to Mully, I hears my mom talk 'bout

friends go scampering down a path that will take them to the far side of
the rainbow where all the Bridge residents go to look in on their
families.
