Can anyone tell me what is excessive scratching for ferrets? They are
making me itchy watching them. They will suddenly throw themselves down
and scratch like crazy!! And, what is the awful sound they are making?
It sounds like part sneeze/cough/choke/hack. I know from FFD the ferrets
sneeze but these noises are loud and sound painful. Doesn't seem to
affect them at all though! They otherwise play, eat, sleep, romp, roam,
run, poop, and drink normally. The only change is that we recently moved
them to the living room from our son's room. Are we just now more aware
of how much they do these things?
