I was just thinking... with the hammock prices for the giving tree
ferrets, maybe others can afford to buy a few sets and pick a shelter off
the tree and send them even if they aren't santa's to specific little
ones. Most of the shelters are asking for hammocks or soft bedding and
they only put a few of their little charges on the tree so there are more
that could use gifts. What the heck, why not just pick a shelter off the
tree and send a gift box with assorted ferret treats! Oh, and JoAnne's
Fabrics in our area has 50% off on fleece right now and 1 yard can be cut
to make several ferret blankets.... oh, and Target has $1 stuffed toys in
the kids section (watch out for parts like that could be potential
blockages like eyes, noses, buttons, etc.) and Big Lots has cat treats
and toys for $1. Oh and maybe toss in a little something for the shelter
caretakers too. I'm sure they'd be surprised!

Be aware though, the heavier the box the higher the cost of shipping so
keep that in your spending calculation.

Come on people! Let's make this the best Christmas so far for these
precious little beings!

Happy Holidays to all!
