Stormy here with the late report.
Stormy has been on an extended cheweasel break, that is why the report is
late.
Now to the report.
Stormy was very sorry to learn that Florence, one of the Morehouse
College kids, did not survive her spay. She was a pretty girl who
seemed healthy and was quiet feisty and protective of Hector, her
cage mate. This was a hard loss for Hector and to the shelter. Hector
needed some extra TLC but seems to be doing better thanks to Benita who
took him home to care for him for awhile.
Shelter mom, Juliana is still giving sub-q fluids and supplemental gravy
feedings to some of the Morehouse group. Please send out good thoughts
to shelter mom and the lab kids.
Stormy wants to send out special thanks to everyone who has done so much
to help these kids. All of them have now been fixed, although no one has
ever explained to Stormy why going to college breaks ferrets!
The boys are scheduled for their dentals with one kid Gordy needing some
extra care. Seems his teeth were in really bad shape and now he has an
abscess which needs treatment.
Now Stormy wants to remind all the hoomans about the drawing for the
three SOS 2003 Sympoium t-shirts that will be coming up September 7th.
Everyone who donated will have their name in the hat. There is still
time to get your name in the hat and these lab kids still need help to
get ready to go to their own forever loving homes.
Shelter mom, Juliana and the shelter friends with your help are getting
them all ready to go.
If you can help please send donations for the Morehouse Lab kids to:
