First of all, thanks to everybody who gave me advice about my little
biting problem with Ruben. Especially to Claire, who was absolutely
right about the grooming (how obvious it is in retrospect! I should have
picked it myself). Ru seems to be a teeny bit slow, but now it's getting
through to him that he's hurting me, and I rarely have to remind him.
Thanks everyone ^^

Secondly, I'm a bit confused by this diet discussion... what is kibble?
Is it just a word for processed animal-biscuit foods? Forgive me, I'm
Australian ^_^;

On that note, if anybody can recommend a good dry ferret food that I can
/find/ in Australia, I'd be much obliged ^^ Ferrets aren't as popular
here as in the US (booooo!) and finding a ferret-specific diet has proven
troublesome. Ruben eats chicken giblets for most meals, but I have to
have some dry food around because his appetite varies wildly from day to
day, and if I give him more meat than he needs, it all winds up under the
bed or behind various doors (of course). The best thing I can find,
though, is a diet designed for kittens, which had more protein and fats
than the others available, but less than I would like (about 33% and 22%
respectively, if I recall correctly). Any advice on that? ^^
