And IVAN officially blows! (scuse the pun). All five fuzzies, two
kiddos and two "grown ups" (?) made it through with minimal damage to the
house/barn and property. On the up side, all our neighbors oak trees,
that fell over and smashed our back fence, will give us enough fire wood
for several winters to come. (after a year to season of course). I just
can't believe how truly blessed we are. The only real damage we have to
the house is a leak over the ferrets play room. They all came through
without a scratch, and really, really energized. I can't believe how
much energy these guys have gotten since the storm. I can promise this.
Not ever again, no matter what, no matter how minimal. We will never,
ever stay and ride out a hurricane. Thanks to all for your prayers and
offers of help. I hope everyone else got through ok. So far I've only
been able to contact Wes and Susan in Pensacola, and they did ok. Some
damage, but as of thursday, no damage.

Shelley and the fuzz butts.
