I did see the E-bay ferret as listed and the seller was totally correct
that this was 100% legal.
It seems that if something offends someone then everyone must not
do/say/perform/own/sell or what ever that offensive thing. It goes with
out saying that ANYTHING you say will be offensive to someone. ANYTHING
you eat will be offensive to someone. ANYTHING you do will be offensive
to someone. In this world those who believe in Jesus Christ is offensive
to some and those who believe in Allah is offensive to some. I like
broccoli, but that is offensive to some. But I will eat, raise and like
broccoli now and for all future times. My religious beliefs are mine and
if that is offensive to you then turn away. This ferret pelt may be
offensive to you so do not bid on it.
That seller is legal to do what he is doing and he harms no one. He does
not shorten, erode, or harm any of your rights. He is totally free to
sell that pelt as he sees fit and we simply do not have to bid on it if
you don't like it. This IS a free nation. You have to allow freedom to
all others for you yourself to have total freedom.
To stop the selling of this pelt is cutting this seller's freedom for you
own preferences and that is not the right thing to do. He may object to
your objection so he now has a right to stop you from speaking objections
where you destroy his right to sell an item even if it offends you. Just
do not bid on it if you don't like it and if you don't like E-bay then
stay off it.
