I can't get your link to work, but if you're referring to the same cage
I think you are, the grooves (I assume you're referring to those in the
base section where the cage rests) aren't that much of a pain to clean
around. The only thing I really don't like about this cage, as compared
to our previous superpet cage, is that none of the doors are big enough
to bring a litter box thru. This means to empty the litter box, you have
to lift the entire 4 story cage off of the base section and set it aside.
While not impossible, it is a little ungainly to do by yourself.
Other than that, the boys love the cage, and with only 2 ferrets in our
family, it leaves PLENTY of room.
