I don't get to read the whole FML every day but I try to skim through
the headings and read the topics that catch my attention. Recently
someone posted a question about Innova's new dog food, EVO. I feed my
dogs regular Innova but my store was out so I purchased a bag of EVO.
After looking at the ingredients, I too wondered if it would be good for
my ferrets. Here's the main ingredients, in order: turkey, chicken,
turkey meal, chicken meal, potato, herring meal, chicken fat as a
preservative. The bag also states that the food contains taurine and
that live microorganisms are sprayed on the food after cooling. The
nutritional content is: protein: 42%, fat: 22%, fiber 2.5%, moisture:
less than 10%. I'm sorry if this topic has already been covered and I
missed it. What is the general consensus on this food? You can email
your thoughts or opinions privately if you wish.
